Apple Orchard Snack Cake Perfect for Fall

A delicious apple snack cake is made with graham cracker crumbs, sugar, apples, butter, eggs, vanilla and pecans.
Today I'm bringing you another fall inspired recipe. I've made this Apple Orchard Snack Cake a couple times now and it's delicious every time. The first time I saw this cake and all of the ingredients I knew it had to be good.

I thought the kids would love it since it is made with with graham cracker crumbs and apples. I didn't have any graham cracker crumbs on hand, but I did have regular graham crackers. So I just crushed those up to make two cups. Buying a whole box of graham crackers is so much cheaper anyhow. I can get a whole box at Walmart for $1.10.

This cake is so super moist and the apples are delicious. Both of m sons love this cake, but  Mackenzie not so much. She liked the cake but did not care for the apples. The little girl I babysit, Grace is now a big fan of the cake as well. Grace even helped me mix everything up, so I think we have a future chef on our hands.

This is a perfect cake for Fall and I love that it's made with graham cracker crumbs. I was thinking maybe next time I might buy the cinnamon graham crackers in place of regular. We will see I always forget and end up grabbing the regular ones. I highly recommend this cake maybe you have a few apples lying around that need to be used up. This would be perfect recipe.

Here is my helper Gracie mixing up all the ingredients.

Little feet means little helper. LOL

Pour the batter into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish

and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Gracie's favorite place when I am baking anything is right in front of the oven, she will tell me "light light".

Fresh from the oven, let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar

Your little helper is so cute.

I made the cake tonight and everyone loved it. We put pecans over half of the top since I love the nuts and my daughter doesn't. It was tasty and easy. I'll make it again!

wow this looks awesome. I just made a wonderful apple cake as well, but it didn't have graham cracker crumbs - that sounds like a great addition. I think I'll branch out and try this one next time!
Yum! This sounds so good. I just bought cinnamon graham crackers at Trader Joe's and got apples from my CSA so I'll be making this soon. Thanks!
I needed an apple cake and this is one of the best places to visit for that special recipe. Thank you for all of your shared recipes. I really like your blog.

I can't wait to make this cake, I just bought a whole bunch of apples. Which kind did you use?

Hi Heidi I just had some left over apples from my apple butter recipe. I used one gala I think and one granny smith.
That looks so yummy. I am going to make that this afternoon! I will let you know how it turns out!

looks wonderful! what do you think about using oatmeal instead of the graham cracker crumbs?

I have only tried it with graham crackers so I don't know what the result would be. I guess you could give it a try.

You can make this in a 13 x 9 inch pan if you double the recipe. This recipe is only for an 8 x 8 inch pan.
