Today I am bringing you another recipe that utilizes the simplicity of a cake mix and the addition of eggnog. These mini cakes are really festive and so flavorful. I love eggnog and I really love trying to come up with new recipes that use eggnog. By far my favorite is my Holiday Eggnog Quick Bread, I have been making it for so long.
I saw this recipe for Old Fashioned Eggnog Bundt Cake on the back of the eggnog carton and it really sounded so good plus I'm always up for new recipes. I have actually made this recipe twice. Once in my new mini Bundt cake pans pictured above, and in a regular large size Flute pan. I prefer baking this recipe in the mini Bundt pans because the cake did not bake as high in the large pan.
I used the Sam's Club Old Fashioned Eggnog. For me the best part of this cake is all that eggnog glaze that is drizzled over the top. If you want something quick or you just have some eggnog that needs to be used up this would be the perfect recipe. This cake is so moist and delicious and now I have added a new recipe to my Christmas baking collection.
While cake is baking prepare the eggnog glaze and set aside.
Cool cakes in the pan for 5 minutes before removing. Then remove and cool completely on a baking rack. Drizzle on eggnog glaze.
Cool completely and wait until the glaze is dry before wrapping or adding to clear treat sacks.

As for the chili sauce, Publix carries it here in the ethnic section.
