I want to wish everyone here at Mommy's Kitchen a Happy & Blessed New Year. Thank you all for your love, support, and friendship throughout 2010. I am so lucky to have such loyal and dedicated readers here at Mommy's Kitchen. It has been a wonderful and blessed year!! I can't wait to see what is in store for me in 2011.

As we move into a new year it's always fun to look back and see the favorite recipes from the year before us. So without further delay here is the Top 10 Most Popular Recipes at Mommy's Kitchen for 2010. I have also listed my favorite recipes from 2010 as well. It was a hard choice but I think I narrowed it down.

#1 Overnight French Toast Casserole
Everyone loves a good overnight casserole especially french toast. This recipe is always a big hit especially around the holidays.

#2 Green Tomato Relish
I found this recipe in Edna Lewis's The Gift of Southern Cooking. Truly one of my favorite cookbooks. Edna is one of the original true southern cook's who inspires me with her life and simplicity for cooking.

The cover alone grabbed my attention. Two friends sitting around a table enjoying a southern meal and the company of each other. That's what it is all about!!!

#3 Rolo Pecan Pretzels
Always a hit in our house so it's no surprise that it is on your favorite list. Something so simple and easy that surprised everyone that tastes it.

#4 Cracker Candy ~ Saltine Toffee
AKA Christmas Crack this one is so addicting.

#5 Overnight Crock Pot Apple Butter
Apple Butter while you sleep. No surprise that it's on the top ten list. This recipe is from my dear friend Christy Jordan and truly is the best apple butter around.

#6 Bread & Butter Pickles
I really love that so many people are starting to can again. Folks are finding out that is it a lot easier than you think. Pickles are always the favorite.

#7 Overnight Crock Pot Steel Cut Oat's
This one never surprises me. For the second year this oatmeal has been on the top 10 most popular recipes at Mommy's Kitchen. It really is the easiest and yummiest way to cook Steel cut oats.

#8 Homemade Oreo Cookies
Divine is all I can say.

#9 Friendship Casserole
A wonderful and yummy dish to share with a friend. So glad everyone is thinking of others.

#10 Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie
Goodness how can an old fashioned classic not make the top 10 listing. Coconut Cream Pie & Chocolate are my favorites as well. So hard to choose.

As I sifted through the recipes of 2010 it was so hard to choose just 10 recipes. I managed to do it, so here are my my favorite's from the past year. Maybe a few of them are your favorites too.
