Creamy No Bake Eggnog Pie & {Giveaway Closed}

This creamy No Bake Eggnog Pie is perfect for the holidays! Creamy, delicious and so simple to make.
Merry Christmas everyone! Not only do I have a delicious recipe to share with you today, but I also have a fun little giveaway from Taste of Home. I was so excited when Taste of Home contacted me last month about hosting a holiday giveaway. Taste of home is one of my favorite publications that I receive throughout the year.

Since receiving the magazines in the mail I have literally read them from cover to cover. So many great recipes yet so little time. Each magazine is packed full of beautiful photos of each recipe.

I received The Best Holiday Recipes filled with 235 Treasured Family Recipes. Everything you need to plan your Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years meal. Fabulous appetizers, soups, breakfast , breads, rolls, desserts and main dishes. There's even a section on turkey leftovers.

The Creamy No Bake Eggnog Pie pictured above was featured in The Best Holiday Recipes. I love eggnog, so I couldn't wait to make this pie. I love that this was a no bake recipe, so it literally took no time to throw together. Everyone loved the creamy festive flavor. What a fun new way to enjoy eggnog.

I have such a sweet tooth that my favorite book was the Best Loved Cookies & Candies.  This edition has 150 recipes for the best cookies and candies. Whoppie pies, Southern Tea Cakes, Chocolate Reindeer's, Fruitcake cookies and Hot Chocolate Cookies, Friendship Brownies and Peanut Butter Fudge just to name a few.

The third and last holiday edition was for Best Loved Food Gifts. This one is has 143 creative holiday gift ideas. Caramel Apple Jam, Jalapeno Jelly, Blueberry Banana Bread, Lemon Thyme Bread, Mexican Hot Chocolate Mix, Cheese Balls and Seasoning Mixes. This one is loaded with tons of great gifts from the kitchen.

 If you love the holidays just like me then you’ll love this little giveaway. Taste of Home is giving one lucky Mommy's Kitchen reader a copy of: Best Holiday Recipes, Best-Loved Cookies and Candies and The Best Food Gifts. (Each Magazine retails for $9.99).

Ooh that looks just yummy. I've sadly already done all my shopping for the holiday. Of course, we can still get yummy egg nog in January. My twin sons birthdays are in January and one of them is living back with us for awhile with his family and he LOVES Egg nog so this might be something I will be making for his birthday.

And to answer your question.....with a question LOL HOW can I possibly tell you my favorite? That's a tough thing to do.
One of my very favorites is a recipe I got years ago somewhere for pecan pie bars. OH those are SO good and taste just like a pecan pie with less fuss.

I hope you have an amazing Christmas. Thank you for another great giveaway. I LOVE Taste of Home and used to subscribe for years. I have almost a half of an entire bookshelf just of their magazine which is the biggest reason I had to stop. I do still pick them up though because the recipes are always so good.

Oooo can't wait to try this. I haven't tried anything of yours that me nor the family didn't like. I would have to say I have two; 1 is more for me & the munchkin which is your Santa Cut out sugar cookies--favorite b/c it helps make precious memories that we've all grown up with & I love helping shape them for him even if he's a boy & doesn't really wanna help for long LOL. 2nd I would have to be for DH & that's your chocolate chess pie, that is a no brainer for every holiday season I have to make at least two of these--he absolutely LOVES this recipe & says it brings him back to some cherished memories of his grandmother making it.

Ohhhhhhhh Christmas crack...I have tried using pretzels instead of nuts, oh soooooo good, also added rasins instead of nuts. I like to see the stunned look on peoples faces when I tell them that I made up a batch of crack and ask if they would like to try some. Way to funny, they tell me they were speechless to think a 69 year old gma cooks up crack, we all have a good laugh. Now every year they ask me to make a batch of crack for them, omg the looks we got when a friend asked me if I was making crack for Christmas in the grocery checkout line or the first time I made it and emailed my grandaughter that I made up a batch of crack, omg, my son was on the phone in a matter of minutes wondering what was going on. Not only is Christmas crack soooo good, you just can't eat one piece, we have had some good laughs when I ask people if they would like to try some of my crack.

Hi there, and best wishes for the holiday season to everyone. My favorite Christmas treat is my Grandmother's authentic Old English Plum Pudding. In late October or early November she starts collecting a wonderful assortment of fruits and nuts and spices. Starts making the Plum Puddings around the first of December, steams it in cheesecloth, then hangs it in her pantry until Christmas so it dries and ripens. The aroma of drying puddings is indescribable! And when warmed up and served with vanilla "hard sauce", it can't be beat!

Thanks for all the great recipes. :-)

Hope you are having a wonderful holiday.
