When the Texas temps reach scorching levels, there's nothing more refreshing than a cool and creamy dessert, homemade ice cream or a slice of ice box cake! If there's one thing I've learned about ☀ summer in the south it's best to use the oven as little as possible. Unfortunately, our sweet -tooth knows no season and to keep you from going without dessert today I'm sharing some of my favorite no-bake desserts and treats.

My Favorite No Bake Summer Treats
These are the recipes that are getting the most views on the blog.
This No Bake Patriotic Cake was the most viewed recipe over on the blog this month. This quick and easy no bake cake starts with store bought pound cake (Walmart's Bakery Pound Cake is my favorite), a homemade strawberry glaze, and a creamy whipped cream/cream cheese filling and topped with fresh blueberries and chopped strawberries. I have made this no bake cake with just strawberries and it's equally delicious. Click here to get the full recipe.

A couple weeks back, I came across this No Bake Lemon Pie and this simple Dump & Bake Parmesan Chicken while scrolling through my Facebook feed. I'm always on the look out for new dinner meals so this cheesy chicken bake sounds delicious.
