My Texas Table - Our Favorite Fall Recipes

Last weekend we received our first official cold front here in North Texas and a second one is on its way tonight!  I definitely think Summer is behind us and fall is on the horizon and I'm so excited! I can't wait for cooler days, chilly nights, changing of the leaves, football season, bonfires, hoodies, comfort food and the beginning of fall baking!!!

When I think of fall, apples, pumpkins, soups, comforting stews and chili come to mind, so to kick off  the fall season, today's newsletter is filled with recipes that will have you excited to celebrate the season.  The following recipes are a collection of some of mine (and yours) favorite fall recipes. I hope y'all find something you like!

🍎🍂 Some recipes are sweet and some savory, but all of them are delicious. 🍎🍂

These are the recipes that are getting the most views on the blog.
This Crock Pot Chicken & Dressing received the most viewed recipe over on the blog last month. This crock pot meal has all the flavors of traditional Cornbread Dressing with the addition of chicken, layered in your slow cooker. Pair with mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, southern peas or green beans and fluffy rolls to complete the meal. Click here to get the full recipe.

Recipes that I found online (not mine) that I can't wait to share with you.
A couple weeks back, I came across these Cream Cheese Frosted Pumpkin Bars and this recipe for Ground Beef Fried Rice while scrolling through my Facebook feed. I'm always on the look out for new dinner meals so the ground ground beef fried rice sounds different and super. Are you looking for a new way to carve pumpkin? If so look no further. How about easy Pumpkin Carving using metal cookie cutters! This is a fun safe way to carve pumpkins, especially when little ones want to help.  You use metal cookie cutters and lightly hammer them into a pumpkin (with adult supervision) to make a Cookie Cutter Jack-O-Lantern.  This is one of my favorite carving techniques. Click here to get the full instructions.

What my family is eating this month and my current menu plan.
I haven't had a chance to get our October Menu posted, but September has quite a few meals to get you going. Click here to view our September Menu Plan and to see what my family is eating.

Take a look back at the latest post's on the blog.
Check out my newest recipe on the blog and learn how to make your own Hamburger Helper Mix. This homemade cheeseburger macaroni is made in under 30 minutes and taste sooooooooo much better than the boxed stuff. Click here to view the full recipe.

Be on the lookout for my post on how to preserve home grown pears at their peak by packing the fruit in a light syrup to help the pears retain their texture and flavor.  I'm hoping to get the recipe posted sometime in the next week or so. I hope everyone has a fabulous week and I hope you'll give a few of these recipes a try.
